The company said the new laboratories in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Los Angeles, California will allow it to expand its capabilities and services from coast to coast, giving local clients access to a range of consumer product and food safety analysis which otherwise may not have been available. The laboratories will also offer clients technical expertise, specialty testing, and complimentary courier service. Certified Laboratories Private food testing laboratory Certified Laboratories announced earlier this week it had completed the acquisition of California-based Columbia Food Laboratories, a provider of analytical services to the food industry. The firm - established in 1926 - is a full service laboratory, specializing in chemistry, microbiology, import, nutritional labeling, light filth and regulatory services. Bobbi Buford Marketing Illinois and Florida based Bobbi Buford Marketing has launched a marketing and market research consulting service for the food ingredients industry. Clients will be offered services such as communications planning, customer interviews and secondary market research. Buford has previously worked for Eastman Chemical Company Teepak and Kraft Foods.
