Scientists "substantiate" safety of noni fruit juice

Scientists have reviewed the safety data and case reports of
supposed adverse reactions for noni fruit juice, and reached the
same conclusions as the EU that the fruit poses no safety risk to
consumers.
An online consultation on the revision of novel food regulations,
designed to take into account changes to the status of GM food in
the EU, is nearing completion.
A New Zealand product development company has announced that
PureLo, the company's proprietary Luo Han fruit concentrate, has
been affirmed as a GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) food
ingredient.
