GSB flavor pairings take on dance theme

Related tags Cooking Taste

GSB Flavor Creations has been releasing a variety of ‘shuffled’ flavors in recent months, to develop “unusual yet complementary tastes”, which it says is “like choreographing a dance”: Now it is characterizing them as specific well-known dances.

The latest flavor combinations are Tango, a blend of mango and persimmon flavors; Swing, containing starfruit and wildberry flavors; and Waltz, a mix of watermelon and nectarine.

Previous offerings have included the Tommango flavour, a pairing of tomato and mango; and fruity-floral pairings like lingonberry and lavender.

More recently it moved into green tea and fruit flavor blends, which it said take advantage of the idea that green tea has “has carried the torch for the health foods market for many years in countries all around the world.”

GSB says its flavors are suitable for use in products including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, confections, baked goods, savory creations, and more.
