Flood, who is based in Geneva, regularly chaired events in his previous role as head of global marketing at Pure Circle and has made a name for himself as an authority on the ingredient.
The global stevia industry is expected to be worth more than $2bn by the end of 2011, according to Wisdom Natural Brands.
In welcoming Flood on board, Jim May, founder and CEO, indicated that more new faces are expected soon.
