ChromaDex offers new complete stevia reference standard
Reference standards firm ChromaDex has added a new complete standard for testing stevia to its offerings, using the latest JECFA (Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives) standard.
ChromaDex said the new standard will give laboratories doing stevia analysis one complete reference standard that contains all nine of the compounds needed to perform an analysis of stevia extract according to the JECFA method.
CEO and co-founder of ChromaDex Frank Jaksch said: "ChromaDex is at the forefront of providing the latest testing methodologies for stevia and stevia compounds. We have now developed the only complete mixed standard that contains all of the stevia compounds required for the JECFA method. We are committed to serving the stevia raw material market with the materials and technologies needed to insure fast accurate test results."
