Univar Food Ingredients has developed an interactive formulation tool, bringing together trend data, technical expertise and case studies to help food manufacturers in effective new product development.

Univar Food Ingredients is a supplier and distributor of food ingredients from hundreds of different ingredient companies, which gives it a particular understanding of how ingredients work together, according to Elizabeth Sinclair of Univar's marketing communications department.

Speaking to FoodNavigator-USA at the recent IFT expo in New Orleans, Sinclair and Tammy Jarrett, of regional technical sales and business development, explained how the company's interactive digital formulation tool taps into technical expertise and trend data to help companies bring new products to market as quickly as possible.
