Kids' foods 'big growth opportunity for whole grains': ConAgra
The food industry is under pressure from all sides to improve the nutritional content of foods intended for children's consumption - and there are big opportunities for companies to get ahead of the curve, according to ConAgra Mills' director of marketing Don Trouba.

ConAgra has been working with companies to up whole grain content in kids' foods, and dedicated a whole day of its presence at IFT this year to healthier incarnations of commonly consumed kids' foods. Against a backdrop of concern about childhood obesity and incoming mandates for in-school whole grain content of foods, the company is calling on food manufacturers to find ways to revamp their offerings for children.
