Flavorchem opens new liquid production facility in Downers Grove, Illinois

Flavorchem, which also has a production facility in San Clemente, California, has been steadily expanding its operations at the Downers Grove campus, which includes its corporate headquarters, sales, customer service and marketing offices, technical and production facilities, and distribution and packaging centers. Flavorchem has also created a larger, dedicated area for the quality control and regulatory departments, as well as a better equipped training facility for its employees, said president Kenneth Malinowski. “The new facility will enhance production and distribution efficiencies, while maintaining our high standards for quality and safety. “We have taken a large step forward and will continue to invest in our customers, employees, and community." Founded in 1971 by Salvatore Sprovieri, privately-owned Flavorchem manufactures flavors and colors for the food, beverage and nutraceutical industries. Its range includes natural and artificial colors and flavors; organic, kosher and Halal options; plus citrus oils and botanical extracts, spices, teas, and custom distillates and extractions.
