French flavor, fragrance and natural ingredients specialist Robertet has opened a new $20m, 115,000-square-foot facility in Mount Olive, New Jersey, that will serve as the new HQ of its US fragrance and ingredient division.

The new site, which combines offices, warehouse and production facilities, consolidates offices in Oakland, NJ, and a production center in Fairfield, NJ, and houses around 150 people, including several new hires, said the firm’s US marketing VP Jennifer Powderly.

Christophe Maubert, global president of Robertet’s fragrance division added: "Our newly renovated, beautiful state-of–the-art innovation center has been completely transformed.

"Our $20m investment has greatly expanded our production capacity, enhanced our stability and sensory testing and increased our levels of automation."
