Ethical meat brand Strauss acquired

Family-run since 1937, Strauss focuses on American grass-fed and organic beef, as well as humanely raised veal and lamb for the retail and food service markets. CEO and president Randy Strauss will remain in his current role. Ethically-raised specialty meat producer Strauss has been acquired by private equity firm Insight Equity Holdings.
