In early April, Target Corp. will introduce Favorite Day, its latest private label food line focused on affordable, sweet and savory indulgence.

According to the retailer, Favorite Day will serve as a "sweet and savory complement" to the company's Good & Gather line, which has grown into a multi-billion dollar brand since launching in 2019.

“We’re thrilled to build on Good & Gather’s success and the strength of Target’s Food and Beverage business by debuting our new owned brand, Favorite Day,” said Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief food and beverage officer at Target.

“Rooted in guest insights and developed by our talented Target team, Favorite Day is a sweet and savory addition that tastes amazing, makes life’s little moments of indulgence even sweeter and continues to differentiate Target’s owned brand portfolio.”

The Favorite Day assortment will include 700 different SKUs (all priced under $15 per product) spanning several categories from baked goods to beverage mixers and cocktails, all of which passed "rigorous taste and quality tests" by Target's internal team of product developers.

"Our guests love an amazing treat -- especially if it's nostalgic. So, we leaned into the nostalgia trend with a twist," said Thomas Jackson, senior food scientist at Target.

The Favorite Day line will include a variety of indulgent options including premium ice cream, macarons, lava cakes, French Brioche bread, and non-dairy frozen desserts. Some of the company's most anticipated products to launch into stores next month include the Caramel Macchiato Trail Mix, Gourmet Brookie Dough Ice Cream, and Mini Everything Bagel Croissants.
