Bunge Oils

Known as “The Oil Experts,” Bunge is the world’s largest oilseed processor and has been involved in agribusiness since 1818. The company is consistently on the forefront of developing the latest in edible oils and shortenings through research and the development of proprietary technology. Bunge is engaged in ongoing efforts towards eliminating trans fat, reducing saturated fat, improving nutritional and menu labeling while implementing sustainable solutions.

To meet market needs, Bunge offers a complete line of alternative non-hydrogenated, no trans fat, enzymatic interesterified, identity preserved and custom blended products. These products along with technical expertise and support tools provide customers with what they need to be successful.

The Bunge Ingredient Innovation Center (BIIC) is central to our customer-focused strategy. Staffed with scientists and research and development professionals, the primary mission of the BIIC is to provide applications support for existing products and customers. The staff also works to develop innovative solutions to meet next generation needs for shortenings and oils. As part of our development research, Bunge partners with leading seed developers to deliver identity preserved soybean and canola oil with improved functional and health benefits.
