Butter Buds is a patented microbial enzyme process which releases highly potent dairy flavours (flavors) trapped in the milkfat of cream, butter and cheese. Butter Buds products are used at low levels (0.1 - 1.0%) for dairy flavours and added richness. ButterBuds products are available in water soluble powders and oil soluble pastes. They have a one year shelf life.
