WEBINAR Nov. 11: Innovation in Action … Meet the Trailblazers

Related tags Food for kids

As illustrated by the diversity and record number of entrants to FoodNavigator-USA’s 2020 Food For Kids Trailblazers Challenge, innovation abounds in the children’s food and beverage segment, but funding and shelf space in stores – even digital ones – remains limited, creating a competitive landscape for entrepreneurs to navigate.

To find out what it takes for new brands – and ideas – to catch the attention of consumers, retailers and investors, tomorrow, Wednesday Nov. 11 as the fourth part  of FoodNavigator-USA’s virtual Food For Kids Summit we will bring together three industry veterans to evaluate the products, branding and go-to market strategies of the three winners of our Trailblazers Challenge.

Our expert panel includes Jon Sebastiani, founder and managing partner of Sonoma Brands, Mark Rampolla, co-founder and managing partner of PowerPlant Ventures, and Brad Barnhorn, a board member and advisor for growth stage food and beverage companies.

Facing our judges will be Benjamin Bartley, co-founder of Chum Fruit Snacks, Catherine & JJ Jaxon, co-founders of Mission MightyMe, and Phil McGrath, co-founder and CEO of Good Feeding. Each will have five minutes to present their product and business plan to the panel, which will then provide feedback during a 10-minute session moderated by FoodNavigator-USA’s Deputy Editor Elizabeth Crawford.

After all three companies have presented, our experts will take a step back to share their thoughts about the children’s food and beverage category overall – including their appetite for investing in the space, where they see room for innovation and where they see saturation. They will also shed light on what was behind several multi-million dollar investments in children’s food brands in the past year, and outline what most likely is expected of them by their new stakeholders. Finally, they will share strategies for long-term success that applies not just to our Trailblazers but our attendees as well.

If you haven’t yet registered for this free event, do so today at foodnavigatorusasummit.com or by clicking HERE.
