Perten Instruments has opened an office in Canada to support efforts, work and customers.

It will further interest and connections to the grain trade and processing industries, said the firm.

The site in Winnipeg, Manitoba will employ Michael Reimer, general manger of the Canadian office who is a service technician, and a separate office assistant.

The office expands the firm’s current Canadian team which includes Ed Arsenault and Marc Turmel.

Reimer said: “It’s very exciting to open our new Canadian operation right in the heart of our primary business area in Canada. We have a very large user base, and it’s going to be close to all of these customers.”

The Perten Instruments Group provides tools for quality control and process monitoring including Diode Array based technology, near-infrared and high frequency moisture analyzers.
