thinkThin promotes Michele Kessler to post of CEO
We kick off our gallery of new hires with changes at the top of LA-based protein bar maker thinkThin. which has promoted Michele Kessler to the role of CEO.
Kessler, who has held senior marketing and general management roles at Kraft, P&G and Mars, joined thinkThin as chief marketing and innovation officer in October 2013 and became president in January 2014. She will replace founder and current CEO Lisanne Falsetto on January 5.
With national listings n Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Kroger, Walmart, Target, and Walgreens, thinkThin bars are among the fastest growing in the category, said the firm, which is looking to take the brand into “other on-trend categories”.
Falsetto, who will remain “actively involved" with the company as a board member, said: “When I hired Michele, I knew that her extensive expertise and demonstrated success in growing brands and driving breakthrough innovation was a perfect match for a rapidly growing food company like thinkThin.”
