Closed-door refrigeration saves energy

“There are a lot of theories in retail about closed door refrigeration. Some retailers will argue that when you have glass in front of the product, it prevents the customers from making an impulse purchase. But we think that we have smart customers and if they want a certain product, they will open the door and reach in and get it,” she said.
