Pizza 2.0: Against The Grain offers versatility
Against The Grain debuted at ExpoEast a single-serve Flatbread Pizza that doubles as a handheld burrito or wrap when folded. The Classic and Fiesta flavored flatbreads are based on the company’s Lebanese-style pita and can be enjoyed as a crispy traditional pizza or can be used as the foundation for a burrito wrapped around other ingredients, such as scrambled eggs, a spokeswoman said. The product also is grain-free – using the fruit seed buckwheat as a base, which allows the product to tap into the continuing gluten free trend.
