According to Canadean's 2015 global consumer survey, 64% of Americans also claim to be more interested in hearing about what to eat, rather than what not to eat, observed consumer insight analyst Tanvi Savara. "The concept of wellness is replacing short-term dieting. Consumers are adopting a more holistic approach to weight management. Consumers are becoming tired of messages about avoidance."
