Recruitment for Congressional Dietary Supplement Caucus is a priority
The bipartisan Congressional Dietary Supplement Caucus already claims 39 senators and representatives as members, but more are welcome and encouraged to join, NPA's Director of Government Affairs Michael Kelley told trade association members during lobby-training the day before the members met with lawmakers' staffs. He explained the caucus, which was formed in 2006, facilitates discussions about dietary supplements, health and wellness, and it promotes research into health care savings provided by supplements.
