Radishes offer crunch & color
The humble radish is popping up on more than twice as many restaurant menus as it did 10 years ago with about 13.6% penetration in 2016, according to Packaged Facts. Its growth is attributed to consumer interest in heirloom vegetables and ethnic cuisines, as well as their desire for brightly colored, photogenic foods, the report suggests.
