Benzo(a)pyrene and PAHs in banana chips
Slovakia: Slovakian authorities have warned about a sample of 'Racionella' Banana chips with raw material from the Phillipines.
In the sample, an excess amount of benzo (a) pyrene = 5.9μg/kg (max = 2μg/kg) and an excess amount of PAH4 = 45μg/kg (limit = max. 20 µg/kg) were found.
The 80g product has date 23-11-17 and has been withdrawn from the market.
