Kerry has struck a c.€325m (c.$367m) deal to acquire Ariake USA, the North American Business of Ariake Japan Co., and Southeastern Mills North American coatings and seasonings business (SEM).

Ariake USA produces natural clean label savory taste solutions derived from poultry, pork and vegetables at its facility in Harrisonburg, Virginia; while SEM manufactures coatings and seasonings from its site in Rome, Georgia.

The acquisitions – which come hot on the heels of Kerry's deal to acquire Fleischmann's Vinegar Company and AATCO Food Industries - boost Kerry’s foundational technology portfolio and strengthen its presence in the foodservice market, said the firm.

The latest acquisitions have annualized pro-forma third-party revenues of approximately €125m (c.$141m).
