AquaBall maker True Drinks waves goodbye to CEO
Next we go to True Drinks – the firm behind kids’ flavored water brand AquaBall – which confirms that president and CEO Lance Leonard resigned just before Christmas, with CMO Kevin Sherman taking over on an interim basis. However, an SEC filing stresses that the move is “not due to any disagreements with the company.”
A zero-calorie, vitamin-infused beverage for kids sweetened with stevia in ball-shaped bottles emblazoned with Disney and Marvel characters, AquaBall was launched in 2012 and has since gained authorization in 25,000+ stores from Rite Aid and Walmart.
