Sustainable practice can generate repeat purchases, positive buzz, NMI finds
Undertaking sustainable practices can help manufacturers reach more consumers, according to the Natural Marketing Institute’s 14th Annual Consumer Report on the 2016 State of Sustainability in America. The study found when consumers know products or businesses are healthy or sustainable 58% or more likely to try the products or services, 53% are more likely to buy them repeatedly and 45% tell friends and family about them.
