Green, clean, and lean microgreens production at 2BFresh
One of the highlights of the trip was visiting 2BFresh (Teshuva Agricultural Projects), which grows herbs, lettuce and micro-greens (tiny, flavorful, nutrient-packed leaves) without pesticides, using a variety of different methods including soil-less coco peat grow bags and the hydroponic nutrient film technique (NFT), whereby a shallow stream of water containing nutriens is re-circulated past the bare roots of plants in a watertight gully.
