Brazilian brands strengthen US business initiatives this summer

Brands familiar to Brazilian households, such as Biscobom, Casa Maní, Peccin, and Simonetto, will be touring the Chicagoland area this month as part of a Brazilian business mission in the US to promote their brands in the North American market.
“[It is] part of exports promotion projects developed by the Brazilian Cocoa, Chocolate, Peanut and Candies manufacturers Association (APICAB) and the Brazilian Manufacturers Association of Biscuit, Pasta, and Industrialized Breads & Cakes (ABIMAPI),” the associations said in a joint press release.
Trade show visits
The associations’ members will be in Chicago’s NRA Show 2016 for the foodservice industry on May 21-24, and then the Sweet & Snacks Expo right after on May 24 – 26.
The associations’ efforts are supported by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) through the Brazilian Consulate General in Chicago.
“The U.S. is one of the most important trade partners for Brazil and the main objective is to further business ties between Brazilian and North American companies through this initiative,” the associations said.
