Ozarka, Deer Park and Zephyrhills packaging will be made from 100% recycled plastic.

The three brands join Poland Spring, which started using 100% rPET last year.

The packaging conversion for these three brands means that Nestle Waters North America has doubled the amount of rPET used since 2019 across its US domestic portfolio to 16.5%.

The company wants to reach 25% rPET across the US portfolio by 2021, and 50% rPET by 2025.

“With the expansion of recycled plastic (rPET) to these three brands, nearly 60% of all households in the US will have access to one of our regionally distributed spring water brands in bottles made entirely with recycled plastic,” says Nestle Waters North America.

The new bottles will include messaging on the labels to show consumers they are made from 100% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable.
