Why are Hershey's Kisses wrapped in silver foil in the US and gold foil in China?
If Hershey arrived in China later than some of its rivals, it has made up for lost time since, said global product development VP Dr Jorge Bouzas.
And the secret to its success? Tailoring products towards the unique preferences of Chinese consumers, he said.

They also love gold, he added, prompting Hershey to ditch its sliver foil wrap for Hershey's Kisses and replace it with gold.
