#7 Arla Foods
European dairy cooperative Arla Foods overtook US dairy giant Dean Foods to steal seventh place in this year's Rabobank Dairy Top 20.
The company, which is owned by its dairy supplier members in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the UK, Belgium and Luxembourg, reported dairy sales revenue of $10.8bn (€8.4bn) in 2012 - a slight increase on the $10.3bn achieved in 2011.
