Wrigley eliminates chief marketing officer role
Next we go to Mars-owned gum giant Wrigley, which recently told Ad Age that it had eliminated the chief marketing officer (CMO) position for its North America business “to create efficiencies” and that Brian Hansberry - who joined as CMO in 2012 - has left the company.
Marketing is now overseen by Casey Keller, Wrigley North America president, "along with our category leads”, Wrigley told Ad Age.
