Innovative packaging can create a real point of difference for your brand, said Adam Spriggs, strategy director at design agency Interact On-Shelf, who has worked with brands from Ciao Bella to Food Should Taste Good.

- Ice cream in a clear plastic jar with a screw top: Ciao Bella
- Almond milk in a custom molded bottle instead of a TetraPak: Califia Farms
- Popcorn in pastel shades: Boom ChickaPop
