Säpp organic birch tree water expands on the East Coast
While it's not as well known as maple water or coconut water in the US, birchtree water - which has a subtle but appealing flavor and is low in sugar and rich in minerals - has the potential to grow here as consumers embrace everything plant-based, says the cofounder of Säpp organic birch tree water, which made its US debut in June and is now in 50-70 stores on the East Coast.
While the product is currently made from birch sap tapped in the Ukraine, Säpp is working on sourcing birchwater from the US, said Yaroslav Khromyak.
