Brainiac Kids debuts applesauce pouches for kids with DHA and choline
Brainiac Kids - which is best-known for its kids' yogurt products featuring brain-friendly nutrients DHA and choline - has expanded its range to include applesauce pouches.
"This latest launch of applesauce pouches is an important step for the company proving the concept can cross multiple kids’ food categories. We were told by many industry experts that it would be impossible to get meaningful amounts of Omega-3s, particularly DHA, into a shelf-stable product like applesauce and we are thrilled that we were able to find a way to bring this item to families nationwide," said co-founder Mark Brooks.
The brand - which has donated all of the product that would have been served to Expo West’s planned 90,000 attendees to local children - is now available in Target and Whole Foods stores nationwide.
