A large section of the Expo floor at FNCE was dedicated to gluten-free companies this year including Udi's Health Foods, which was acquired by Smart Balance in a $125m deal in June.
Udi's will become part of Natural Brands, a new unit of Boulder Brands (the new name for Smart Balance) that will comprise Earth Balance vegan foods, Glutino gluten-free products and Udi’s branded products, and will be led by TJ McIntyre.
