Are soy isoflavones safe for women with breast cancer?
In another myth-busting session, Mark Messina, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Nutrition at Loma Linda University, said that all human evidence suggested that soy isoflavones are safe for women with breast cancer.
"Moderate soyfood consumption is safe and potentially beneficial for women with breast cancer", he said.
"Clinical and epidemiological evidence supports the use of soy foods on breast cancer patients."
