Dr. Lucy’s launches a gluten-free Brownie Crisp
Inspired by Sheila G’s Brownie Crisp, Dr. Lucy’s is launching a gluten-free take on the dessert – the Brownie Crisp. Because the company believes everyone will enjoy the crisps, the gluten-free claims is tucked in the top corner rather than being prominently displayed where it might scare away consumers who are not seeking gluten free products, a company spokesman said. He added the snack is only 100 calories per serving and rings up a $3.99 for a 4.5 ounce bag – making it an affordable indulgence. The reclosable bags will hit store shelves soon and come in easy to stack shipping boxes with tear out windows to simplify displays.
