SunButter offers allergy-friendly alternative to school lunch staple
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a school lunch classic, but with the high prevalence and risk of peanut allergies an estimated 60% of schools currently restrict the use of peanuts and peanut butter and 14% outright ban the products, according to SunButter’s National Online Survey conducted by The Zimmerman Group in March. SunButter offers its Sunflower Butter as a peanut-free alternative to the iconic brown bag staple. The company says it is perfect in sandwiches and recipes that call for peanut butter.
