Next we head to up-and-coming 'No Cow' plant-based nutrition brand D’s Naturals, which has just hired former Isopure CEO Chris Hickey as CEO. Hickey - who has worked for blue chips including P&G, Abbott Nutrition and General Mills - will lead day to day operations, enabling founder Daniel Katz to focus on marketing and innovation.
D's Naturals hit the headlines in February after Katz - who is just 20 years old - secured a 'significant' investment from private-equity firm 2x Consumer Products Growth Partners and 301 Inc., the venture capital arm of General Mills.
