ADM appoints D. Cameron Findlay as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary
Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) has appointed D. Cameron Findlay as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective July 15.
He will be responsible for the Law, Compliance and Government Relations functions, will be a member of the company’s Executive Committee, and will report to ADM Chairman, CEO and President Patricia A. Woertz.
He replaces Marschall Smith, who is leaving ADM to enter private practice.
“Cam is a proven leader with exceptional experience managing global legal, regulatory, compliance, and public policy issues,” said Woertz. “He brings to ADM an impressive range of experience in business, government and the law, and I am pleased that he is joining our leadership team.”
Findlay joins ADM from medical device manufacturer Medtronic, where he has served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary since 2009.
