Bare Snacks expands its fruit and veggie offerings
Building on its substantial success with its well-known Crunchy Apple Chips, Bare Snacks hopes to expand the types of dried produce available to consumers by launching new SKUs of coconut, banana and even veggie chips, a company representative said. He noted the company recently unveiled all natural Crunchy Coconut Chips, which are crispy but not toasted thanks to proprietary baking technology. Using the same technology, Bare Snacks plans to launch the first toasted banana chip in July, which will go up against existing fried and dehydrated banana chips currently sold by competitors. It also is exploring creating vegetable chips, most likely root veggies, and mango chips, the representative said, adding that all the firm’s products are so pure and “politically correct that they could run for president.”
