General Mills invites us to The Good Table with new range of 'restaurant-inspired' dinner kits
General Mills is also looking to bring something novel to the center of the store with the launch of new 'restaurant-inspired' dinner kits called The Good Table with no MSG, artificial flavors, high-fructose corn syrup or colors from artificial sources (MSRP $2.99).
Varieties include Parmesan and herb chicken, Southwest tortilla chicken, Thai peanut chicken, and lemon and herb fish. The packages contain a coating sauce which keeps meat moist, and crust mix that contains additions such as tomato pieces, crushed tortilla chips, herbs and peanuts.
To prepare, shoppers coat one pound of boneless chicken breast or fish with the sauce, toss with the crust mix and bake.
