Nestlé’s Lean Cuisine frozen entrée brand is a great example of a brand which boomed in the 1980s and '90s but started to look “tired and out of date” as the recession took hold, with sales falling steadily from 2010-2015 before things started to turn around, says Rabobank International executive director food and consumer trends, Nick Fereday.
