Speaking on an earnings call with investors and analysts, bosses said innovative new products commanding higher margins, increased marketing investment and better cost controls would “unleash the potential" of the standalone meats business: Sara Lee vows to turn Hillshire Brands Co into the ‘most innovative meat-centric food company in the US’
Sara Lee’s international coffee and tea business - operating across Europe, Brazil, Australia and Thailand - was re-named D.E Master Blenders 1753, and includes brands such as Douwe Egberts, Senseo, L’OR EspressO, Marcilla, Pilão, Moccona, Pickwick and Hornimans.
