Daiya Foods appoints Terry Tierney as CEO
Next we move to fast-growing dairy-, gluten-, and soy-free specialist Daiya Foods, which has appointed Terry Tierney as its CEO.
Tierney, who started his career at Kraft Foods, has spent 30 years in the food and personal care industry working for a range of companies including Allegro Coffee, Frontier Natural Brands, and Rocky Mountain Natural Foods, and has served as a director at Daiya since 2011.
Daiya - which has doubled its manufacturing capacity, and projects that its products will be sold in 20,000+ stores by year end - has recently expanded its product range to include dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free frozen pizzas.
