Vertical integration
Esposito added: "We've got world class, highly automated facilities in China, but the longer term plan is to set up manufacturing facilities here. We have global partners that work with us in other markets and want to work with us in the US. We're unusual in that we own our own phosphate rock mines, so we're vertically integrated and not subject to sudden changes in market prices. We also own hydroelectric plants that can supply up to half of our energy needs."
