The European bakery products manufacturer has launched Brooklyn Coffee Bar cookies in the UK in two popular flavours (double chocolate and rich chocolate).
The American style cookies offer the eating quality of a freshly baked soft-eat cookie with the convenience of a wrapped cookie, making it ideal for the food-to-go market.
“According to Lumina Intelligence’s Food to Go Report 20231, the food to go market increased by +31.7% in 2022 to a value of £21.4 billion,” said Helen Sinclair, UK marketing manager for Baker & Baker.
“The Brooklyn Coffee Bar range has been designed to support the growth in this sector by offering consumers a quality tasting single wrapped cookie.”
The rich chocolate cookie is made from a dark short dough with a hint of vanilla and packed with white & dark Belgian chocolate chunks, while the double chocolate cookie is made from the same short dough and packed with dark Belgian chocolate chunks.
Each thaw and serve 75g cookie is Rainforest Alliance certified, Palm Oil SG and suitable for vegetarians. The cookies have a post defrost shelf life of 10 days and are supplied with a free display tray in each case.
