The Good Bean debuts sweet potato and quinoa chip
Bean-based snack manufacturer The Good Bean has added a fifth chip to its bean chip line with Sweet Chili Bean chips. Made with beans, sweet potatoes and quinoa, the gluten-free chips contain 4 grams of protein per serving, and are non-GMO and vegan.
Each bean chip formula contains The Good Bean’s protein blend, comprising chickpeas, navy beans, red lentils and pea protein isolate. The other varieties include Sea Salt, BBQ Bacon, Cheesy Nacho and Jalapeno Cheddar.
Despite that the typical Western diet contains enough protein, it’s enjoying a recent surge in popularity due to its purported role in general overall health and wellness—and there still appears to be room for growth, according to a report from Packaged Facts.
