Kroger works with data analytics firm 84.51° to identify trends and help keep its beverage selection relevant, and refreshes its beverage set twice a year. It is particularly excited about sparkling waters and says prospective suppliers must have a clear plan as to how they will promote and support their brands outside as well as inside the store, via social media and other platforms, said Andrea Tyson, grocery merchandising coordinator, carbonated soft drinks.
