Enjoy Life Foods chalks up high double-digit growth in 2017

Allergy-friendly brand Enjoy Life Foods showcased a new grain & seed bar made with gluten-free oats, sorghum and pumpkin seeds, and a teal colored design for the Mondelez-backed brand, which enjoyed “high double digit revenue and velocity growth” in 2017, said chief marketing and innovation officer Joel Warady.
“Teal is the unofficial color for raising awareness about food allergies (click HERE), but it’s not often used in food packaging and a lot of people told us not to use it. But buyers and consumers love it and it really pops off the shelf.
“While we are usually spread over different parts of the store, we’ve been testing a set with one retailer where all of our products across eight categories are merchandised together and we’ve seen a large lift in sales from that brand blocking.”
